I have an English Bulldog mix that started in a plastic container, but I hated it. I walked in cash and that he loved her, but now prefers a plastic (I think because its more intimate). Well, I think the wire cages are better because if you put the dog near a window, you can see out and be a bit funny, but if you find that he or she prefers intimacy, maybe only covered with a blanket above.
