The underground economy and what is bad for us all

Basically, the underground economy consists of people who are independent operators that prevent or, more precisely, to escape any legal responsibility to their customers, communities or countries in which they live and take all the services it can handle.

A good catch-all term for members of the underground economy is leeches. When using a member of the underground economy with a person or an employer:

"You should not pay income tax
"Do not pay GST or PST
"Not paying workers compensation premiums
"Do not make employer contributions to the Canada Pension Plan or IE
"Do not pay the benefits of the Employment Standards Act so that workers can take vacation and holidays paid
-N does not accept credit cards or, in most cases, checks or other traceable payments
"No honor or warranties or guarantees
-Use and sell products cheaper and less durable, including counterfeit goods
"If employment away at all times
-N does not have a business address reliable means of contact
Assistants unqualified and dishonest recruitment potentially unbonded,
"You can have a criminal record
"Maybe a illegal alien, without connection to the community or country
"No civil liability insurance and probably uninsurable
"Is not authorized by a
"It is certified for the work done
Not trained
"Is not competent in at least some of the services offered and probably all
Who is not subject their work for inspection by any person or organization qualified.

This list could go on to include all the negatives that can easily be offset by the rules, regulations and customs prevailing in the legitimate economy on earth.

What Why? If this is a guy without a permit, which opens the driveway or mowing the lawn or the ceiling for half the price of a true professional, not saved money? And it is to save money is very good in any type of economy? This is the stupidest way to relations with the economy. Every time you give money the underground economy, you get a lot of that dollar away from older Canadians who depend on the former Old Age Security payments and other supplements his meager income.

You are running out of money available to eligible unemployed, including those have to take leave to care for seriously ill or dying family members. You are depriving families of providing low-income and moderate CCTB and the GST credit.

You take the money from funds that should go to needy children, our health care system, the Post-secondary education and all our social services.

Consider this: the services we use to make a decent living in Canada paid for largely by taxes paid by each of us. Without this money, Canada should enjoy a similar quality of life in Iraq or Sudan, but even worse due to our cold climate.

Subtract 15 percent the money it needs and put a gaping hole in services. This is what the economy each year. We are fools for paying people to take the money and resources of our pockets while giving us, in all cases, below, or at least, goods and services, without doubt, if the protection of consumers.

This allows pickpockets signs around our necks reading "Welcome" with a big arrow pointing to the pocket or where we keep our money in cash.

The Next time someone knocks on your door or the phone offers good move, renovation, auto repair land in Florida, or anything else in exchange for money on the front and without a doubt, ask yourself if you want your pocket and resumed once more, or if you prefer to pay for professional work in the economy above the ground.

Ask yourself if you want to get involved in a criminal conspiracy to evade payment of fees or do not want to pay fair taxes for all services your family needs. Ask yourself why you want the blood sucked by a leech when it may face, however, with good markets in Canada.
