WASHING INSTRUCTIONS (Original and Nest Dog Beds)
The outer cover unzips to remove the inner cushion and/or bolster. The inner cushion/bolster also unzips so that the SmartFill may be removed. The outer cover and empty inner cushion liner may be washed separately in your home washing machine or at a laundromat. Machine wash warm using a gentle soap that will not irritate your pet's coat. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not over-dry.
SmartFill is also machine washable and dryable. Due to the volume of the SmartFill, it should be washed and dried at a laundromat separately from the outer cover and inner cushion liner.
If you purchased your dog bed between 2002 and 2007, it probably contains recycled fleece scraps. Which was our previous filling for our dog beds. These beds can be washed as above. We recommend that the fleece scraps be washed and dried at a laundromat separately from the outer cover and inner cushion liner.

Remove the inner cushion from the outer cover before washing. The outer cover and inner cushion may be washed in your home washing machine or at a laundromat. Machine wash warm using a gentle soap that will not irritate your pet's coat. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not over-dry.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS (Catalina Pet Bed, Replacement Covers, Doodle Toys and Travel Blankets)
These products are completely machine washable and dryable. For the Catalina Pet Bed, remove the cushion from the outer ring before washing. They may be washed in your home washing machine or at a laundromat. Machine wash warm using a gentle soap that will not irritate your pet's coat. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not over-dry.
WHAT IS SMARTFILL?
SmartFill is a 100% pre-consumer recycled polyester fiber. It is machine washable and dryable. SmartFill is a dense, cushiony fiber that makes our dog beds feel more substantial when compared to most other dog beds. Because SmartFill is made of many individual tufts of fiber, our dog beds can be opened up and "refluffed" to restore the loft of the fiber. You can feel good about buying a planet-friendly dog bed that uses 100% recycled fibers.
If you purchased your pet bed prior to mid-2007, it is probably filled with our previous filling of recycled fleece scraps.
