how do you train a puppy to like getting dressed?
i love puppy`s in clothes and im getting a puppy and i really wanna be able to dress him up in pj`s and t-shirt , ect. any advice thanksā„
Any Training your animal use poisitive reinforcement. Give them positive words, have fun with them, and give them treats when the comply. Don't ever try and rush things but if you start at a young age the puppy will consider dressing up as part of the fun times with their mama!
All you people who say don't do it are being silly!
Dressing up a dog isn't bad, when I lived in Northern Canada the work dogs would wear booties to protect them from the ice. I've seen wiener dogs wearing sweaters to keep them warm so don't make it sound like a bad idea.
If the puppy has fun with the owner then they won't mind, believe me there is something so heart-warming as seeing a little pet dressed in clothing!
Our cat was a ladybug for halloween one year and she didn't mind too much.
It's not like its cruelty to animals is it??
Have fun and love Your Pet and you will have a good and healthy relationship. Adding some dress-up time with your puppy will add a fun dimension to your lives together!
