Koda had just delivered a litter of 4 Puppies about four weeks. Due to the weather (we live on a tropical island in the Pacific), we brought the mother and babies in our house and keep them in the laundry room with pages of newspapers broadcast on the ground. Koda has developed a red rash on his stomach and around his chest is not one weeks. The rash started small specifications red dots, but now the color of the skin where the rash is look dark and seems almost to look like eczema. Parts of your skin is cracked and the symptoms of eczema, but not too bad. There seems to be itching. I would like to apply a topical cream, but I fear that the cream will harm the puppies when they nurse their mother. Also I would say that the puppies do not erupt. I'm just guessing that the rash could be the result of newspaper ink or as a result of change Beneful food from Pedigree. Does anyone have a sure remedy for the mother and puppies?

Most likely, this rash may be caused by the mother feeds her young nurse, which can irritate the stomach and breasts and suck RUB constant. I do not know what kind of cream topiccal can use it, I know Bag Balm is a wonderful product, but I'm not aware of the safety for animals ingested. Perhaps the implementation of the night and put it in a particular clothing that prevent small from milk at night? Anyway, good luck!
