What is the best orthopedic pillow for someone who wakes up with a pain in the neck?

Rarely wake up with a sore neck but when I do, it's horrible. A week ago, I woke up with pain in the neck very badly, but this time it needs much more time to improve. I'm still in pain now and I'm tired of it, literally. I can not sleep well at night. From your experience, what is the best orthopedic pillow there? First, make sure you have addressed the problem and not just the symptoms. Make sure your doctor xray neck to make sure there is no "push" arthritic deformations caused the problem.
