This is a landing on a taxiway grounds for dismissal?
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/21358459/detail.html Wow, we had a team Pope AFB foundation of our C130 on a taxiway while using night vision goggles, but in Atlanta? I wonder if the ILS has been realized only in terms general as they approached, or someone had lit the blue runway lights.
There are no rules (reg) against landing on a taxi way. The conditions MVC were more likely it was visual, not in the ILS (depends on the Spec Ops) There is no way to "change" the runway lights to blue. The lights on the sides so The taxis are actually white with a blue lens. The PIC is facing a probable violation § 91 123, and perhaps even dismissal § 91.13 may be a little extreme, I think it 709 tower in your future. and perhaps some time in the penalty area. Maybe not, because it was supposed to be a medical emergency on board and the captain was able to exert its prerogative to § 91.3
