Make sure you train Your Dog properly with them. Not magically decide that must remain in court because they have a particularly good example collar. They are not my first choice for a number of reasons, most companies do not work well for many dogs * *. Or the dog constantly challenges the "fence", so when you're battery will discharge the dog runs away, or the dog is so marked the fence can not walk off the property, even without the collar. (This does not mean it works as advertised, but are just not often).
