How do you make a cute dress look sexy instead of, well, cute?
So, I bought my prom dress, and not only is it really flattering but it was on sale. 
the only problem is that the colour is like a light purple so it comes off as "cute", which wasn't really what I was going for considering its my senior prom. Any way I could make it, or myself, appear more grown up or sexy without majorly altering the dress?
a good high shoe (stiletto) should do the trick also a classy hair style like a french braid something off your face and make your eyes look sexy and smokey you will appear grow up and classy not cute so remember high heels wear your hair up and good strong sexy smokey eyes you'll be a knock out . enjoy. good luck x
