How can I make this better?
Sean rolled out of bed and walked to his closet. He stared carefully at his Dress Clothes that hung on the hangers. He could feel his body tense up as he looked out the window every five minutes to check the time. He placed certain possibilities of clothes on his bed. Then he put on a t-shirt and a pair of cargo pants while double checking his calender to make sure it was Sunday.
“Yup,” he agreed, feeling his achy stomach. Then he walked out the door and headed for Hal's Diner.
As Sean rolled out of bed, there was a certain feeling of dread already beginning to take a permanent place in the bottom of his stomach. While looking for his dress clothes, his mind wandered to what was ahead. Shaking his head, he continued to check the time, all at once making sure he wasn't late, and wishing that he could return to sleep. Finally choosing an old t-shirt and a pair of brown cargo pants, he quickly dressed and checked the calendar. No mistaking it; today was the day. Taking a breath that he hoped would settle his roiling stomach, he walked out the door and made his way to Hal's Diner.
Or something like that. Lol sorry I hope I didn't wreck your story!
