My husband and I are talking to a dog. He wants a white one, but I want a black man. My husband who is Muslim, said he did not want a Black Dog because it was against their religion, then I wonder what the Koran says that black on dogs. Thank you.

Hello, The Koran does not say that is not specifically about black dogs. The Quran and Hadith (sayings of the Holy Prophet Mohammed report) talks to allow tenure hunting dogs (see Qur'an 5:4), and as watchdogs. Some hadiths refer to black colored dogs are killed, but in a context in which all reports are read as a whole, we see that relates to dogs infected with rabies or uncontrollable dogs dangerous. One report speaks of those who are rewarded for being good and generous with thirsty dogs.
