when you....how do they?
when you walk your dogs-if you are walking more than one.
how do they walk?
on each side of you (heeling)
in front of you
on the left (heeling)
or on the right (heeling)
or any other position?
how did you train them to walk this way?
do they pull at all? especially side by side in front of you?
any tips on how I can walk both girls at once?
I walked them for about 15 minutes. Bella with the headcollar and Meri with a prong collar.
they kept changing positions but did pretty well.
they were in front of me side by side most of the time
is that OK? in front of me? is that like a dominance thing (b/c I have heard the person is supposed be in front or them heeling)
please give me advice on this. I love walking them both. but Meri is about 110-115 and Bella is about 85-90
so if they pull....I'm SOL
Do they pull or anything? If they are really calm walkers and you don't have any problems with them it doesn't really matter what position they walk in unless you have a preference. If you want to teach them to heel there are many articles online that you can read. Teach them separately first and once they know what heel is than you can walk them in heel position together. A double dog leash can be a pretty good thing when walking two dogs. Here's a picture of one:
