Backpack for my Australian Cattle dog mix?
I have an Australian cattle dog mix who is very high energy. I walk him twice daily for about 35-45 minutes each walk. We also play tons of fetch, but he still doesn't wear out. I don't want him to be exhausted, but just a lil more calm. I'm curious to if I got a backpack then perhaps he would feel like he had more of a job rather then just walking for the heck of it. I was going to make him carry things I usually have to carry IE: water bowl, water, and toys. Do you think this would help with his energy level at all? Anyone who has a high Breed Dog and does this has it made a difference?
i have one for my lab who is high energy. I put 500ml bottles of water in each side so I know theres exactly the same weight so it doesnt get uncomfortable for her. She sometimes takes 1L bottles for a shorter distance
