recommendations for air travel cat? U.S. interior.?
I have a large part of Maine Coon male cat (18 pounds) traveling with me on the road, but now I come to air travel and still want to follow me. Does anyone have experience with this? Frankly, I would take your cat with you for air transport, unless you can bring board to chat with him the whole time and I know that is not abused. You do not know what can happen when you put it in the hands of a stranger. Also, think about how panicked and afraid of being alone in a dark suit with a loud report, not knowing what is happening. That said, most companies do not accept cats as hand luggage due to people with allergies, etc, but it's worth the hard work of one who does, I know it exists. PS: Do not sleep with Your Pet. Drugs can have a unpredictable effect of high altitude animals. PS again: Air Tran allows cats on board!
