do pacifiers expand with use?
this may sound like a silly question. but my 6 month old baby has somehow deflated his pacifier. i went back to walmart to buy another one-its the gerber soft center silicone kind. anyways, this one i bought him is shorter then the one he has now. he has been really sick this week with a cold, a temp, the works. he just wants his pacifier! needless to say, i have bought 3 different pacifiers trying to match his deflated pacifier!! i dont understand why this one is different. maybe its for a different age group and i goofed that in the first place. either way hes not a happy camper. do pacifiers expand with use? is this why i cant find one the same length as the one he has now?
Yes they do. I remember my younger sister had a pacifier and it was the only one she would take. The binky nipple had swelled up pretty big. Well Something happened to it and I remember my mom going out and buying the EXACT same binkys, same age group and everything. The binkys even had the exact same designs(looney tunes) and she would not take them because the nipples were "normal". I remember seeing binkys sitting around in cups of water because my mom was trying to get them to expand like the old ones. Needless to say it didn't work and she ended up being broke from the binky because of it. I hope you find something for the poor guy!! Best of luck
