what am i going to do if my dog Chihuahua has been raped by our neighbors dog whose a 4 years old Bulldog?
when i see him pumping my little dog in our backyard yesterday. it sad cause my dog is only a 4 months old baby female chihuahua so thats disgusting for a dog. so what will i do shall i call the police and let the bulldog thrown into a dog compound or i should call my neigbor and challenge him into a fisfight
The first thing I would do if it were my dog that had been raped would be to take her to my vet to be examined..she needs to be seen to check if she's been torn or otherwise hurt by this much bigger dog. Please get medical treatment for her..she is probably in pain.
After that, I would calmly talk to my neighbor..not challenge them to a fight. Let them know what happened and ask them nicely to make sure their dog isn't loose. (In most cities it is against the law to let a dog run loose) Only get the police involved if your neighbor refuses to co operate. The police will not laugh at you..you are just requesting that the law be enforced..they will probably speak to your neighbor.
The third thing I would do is make sure my little dog was on a leash and you are present every time she goes outside your house. You are responsible for any harm that comes to her...because now you know the right thing to do...now you know about the leash law. She is only a little dog and she totally depends on you to protect her and make all the important decisions for her. You are her guardian..her hero.. Hope she is not hurt too badly....please make sure to take her right away to be examined....best wishes.
