How to stop a dominant pup from not letting the other bark at passer-by's & jealous snaps to vicious biting?
We have two desexed Jack Russell pups 11mths old from same litter , a female & male that usually get along very well but the female now snaps as dominant not letting him bark at passing people or dogs. She also now twice has attacked him & in defence he bites back. They dont stop till intervened. Cant put them back together for 24hrs as they are wounded & she's still snappy. How can i keep them together without this happening & getting worse? She has also shown jealousy when my 9yr daughter (owner of dog) plays with her & has a few times, not always, snarled at the Male Dog, but he's not fussed & goes & sits down.
Obviously the humans in your family are not looked at as the leaders you need to become the leaders asap!
